PP Jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 For Mac OS X Released [Tutorial]

• Backup your device using iTunes or iCloud.
• Restore to stock iOS 8.1.2 firmware using iTunes. You can download iOS 8.1.2 from here or ios 8.1.3 download.
• Disable Find My iPhone and any Passcode or Touch ID set on your device.

Step 1: Download the all new PP Jailbreak for Mac OS X from here.( download Tag Jailbreak for window here)

Step 2: Untick / uncheck PP checkbox found at the bottom left hand side.

Step 3: Click the big jailbreak button in the center. Once you do that, the tool will take you to another screen, here click on the button on the right (not left) to continue the jailbreak process.

Step 4: Jailbreak process will now begin. Wait and let it do its thing. This process can take about 1 to 2 minutes max. Once done, your device will reboot and you will find Cydia on your iPhone or iPad’s home screen.

iOS 8.1.2 jailbreak is out. The latest version 1.2.0 of the TaiG jailbreak tool adds full support for iOS 8.1.2 and can be downloaded right now.

Apple released iOS 8.1.2 earlier today with fixes mainly related to ringtone disappearing after iTunes Store purchase, along with some other minor bug fixes.

Going by i0n1c’s and iH8sn0w’s recent tweets, it looked like all TaiG needed was a update to supportiOS 8.1.2 for jailbreak. And that is what exactly has happened with the release of TaiG v1.2.0.

All devices that can run iOS 8.1.2 are supported by this jailbreak, including the likes of iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3.

TaiG is still available for Windows only. A Mac version of the tool will be released at a later time.

Step 1: Update to iOS 8.1.2 on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using a fresh install if possible

Step 2: Connect your iOS device to your Windows machine, and disable passcode lock and Find My iPhone

Step 3: Download the TaiG 1.2 tool from our downloads page, extract it and run it

Step 4: The TaiG tool should automatically detect your iOS device. Once it does, uncheck the 3K Assistant app install option, and click the green Start button

Step  5: Wait until the jailbreak completes and close the TaiG tool when prompted

Step 6: Launch Cydia on your iOS device and enjoy your newly jailbroken iOS 8.1.2 install

How to jailbreak iOS 8.1.1 on Windows:

Pangu 1.2.1 Jailbreak Tool Released, On Mac With Pangu For Windows

The Pangu team has released another update to their Windows jailbreak tool, bringing the version to 1.2.1. Since Saurik recently released Cydia Installer 1.1.16, the Pangu team has made sure their tool includes the latest version of Cydia.

Saurik released Cydia Installer 1.1.16 yesterday, which fixes plenty of bugs that were present in the previous releases. The team sent out a tweet announcing the release of Pangu 1.2.1 and also giving some info on the Mac version of the Pangu tool.

For all those who have been waiting for the Mac version of the Pangu iOS 8 jailbreak, your wait will be over soon. It could be out by the end of this week or maybe this Sunday could be Funday? iOS 8.1 Jailbreak Released – Untethered iOS 8 Jailbreak Pangu for iOS 8

How to Jailbreak 8.1 Untethered with Pangu for iOS 8 on iPhone 6 Plus 5S, 5C, 4S iPad Mini 3, Air 2, 4 and iPod Touch 5^th generation – Wow – it’s actually here – today, Pangu released their all-new utility to jailbreak 8.1 fully UnTethered: Pangu for iOS 8.0 through 8.1.x! However, before you get too excited, there’s one catch, which is a rather significant one. As of now, the Pangu jailbreak for 8.1 doesn’t install Cydia, as Saurik (the creator of the aforementioned third-party graphical tweak distribution and acquisition interface) has yet to update Cydia Substrate for iOS 8. The way things currently stand, Pangu for iOS 8 is mostly intended for jailbreak developers to get a jump on creating iOS 8-compatible tweaks, as the utility enables full root access, and enables SSH, which is  jailbreaking on a fundamental and rudimentary level. However, seeing as there’s no way to determine when the loopholes exploited by Pangu’s new utility will be patched by an updated 8.1.x firmware, those interested in jailbreaking should take advantage of the current opportunity to do so,  as you’ll be able to install Cydia once Saurik successfully updates Cydia Substrate for iOS 8 through 8.1.x! How To Jailbreak iOS 8 / 8.1 Untethered Using Pangu

Step 1: Download Pangu for Windows from here.

Step 2: Right-click on the Pangu icon and then click on Run as Administrator.

Step 3: With Pangu up and running, connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to your PC using USB.

Step 4: Click on the checkbox that says PP to uncheck it.

Step 5: Press on the big blue button in the center of the display to begin the jailbreak process. Your device will reboot couple of times during the process so be patient.

Step 6: Once the jailbreak is complete, you’ll see a new Pangu icon on your iOS device’s home screen. It’s there to confirm that the jailbreak was successful.
Install OpenSSH
First and foremost, you’re going to download and install OpenSSH.
Step 1: With your iOS device connected to a Wi-Fi network, tap on the Pangu icon on your home screen.
Step 2: Now tap on the OpenSSH option.
Step 3: Tap on Install on the top right-hand corner of the display.
Let the installation process complete before moving forward.
Install Cydia After iOS 8 – 8.1 Jailbreak
Step 1: If you haven’t already, make a backup of your device’s content.
Step 2: Download the latest Cydia .deb file from here. You’re also going to be download the cydia-Iproj file from here.
Step 3: Once the .deb files are on your machine, you’ll need to SFTP the file onto your device. To do this, Mac users should opt for Cyberduck, while those on Windows are advised to use WinSCP.
Step 4: On your device, navigate to Settings > Wi-Fi, and find the hotspot that both your device and PC / Mac are connected to. Next to the connection’s details, hit the "i" and make note of the IP address.
Step 5: Using your designated SFTP client, key in the IP address as well as "root" for username and "alpine" for the password; ignoring the quotations, of course.

Step 6: Once the file browser appears, drop the .deb files in the root folder of your device.
Step 7: This is where things might get a tad tricky. Next, you’ll be firing in commands that you may not be familiar with, so ensure to watch closely if you’re not familiar with this process. To start an SSH command line session on Windows, hit Ctrl + T and on Mac, hit ⌘ + T.
Step 8: Finally, you’ll need to run the command:

dpkg -i cydia-lproj_1.1.12_iphoneos-arm.deb

Now run this command:

dpkg -i cydia_1.1.13_iphoneos-arm.deb

Step 9: Reboot your device.
