Download TaiG 1.2.0 To Jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 Untethered for Windows

iOS 8.1.2 jailbreak is out. The latest version 1.2.0 of the TaiG jailbreak tool adds full support for iOS 8.1.2 and can be downloaded right now.
Apple released iOS 8.1.2 earlier today with fixes mainly related to ringtone disappearing after iTunes Store purchase, along with some other minor bug fixes.

Going by i0n1c’s and iH8sn0w’s recent tweets, it looked like all TaiG needed was a update to supportiOS 8.1.2 for jailbreak. And that is what exactly has happened with the release of TaiG v1.2.0.
All devices that can run iOS 8.1.2 are supported by this jailbreak, including the likes of iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3.
TaiG is still available for Windows only. A Mac version of the tool will be released at a later time.

While jailbreaking iOS 8.1.2 should be straight forward, we will have a guide up soon for those of you who are new to this jailbreak process. Stay tuned for that.
You can download TaiG v1.2.0 from here.

TaiG has released version 1.2 of its iOS 8 jailbreak tool, and it’s now capable of jailbreaking iOS 8.1.2. As has been the norm with the past few jailbreak releases, this is a Windows only jailbreak tool. If you’re running Windows, you can follow our step-by-step tutorial. If you’re on a Mac, you can use our virtual machine tutorial to run Windows on OS X and jailbreak.
Note: Your Windows machine must have iTunes installed before it will recognize your iOS device
Step 1: Update to iOS 8.1.2 on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using a fresh install if possible
Step 2: Connect your iOS device to your Windows machine, and disable passcode lock and Find My iPhone
Step 3: Download the TaiG 1.2 tool from our downloads page, extract it and run it
Step 4: The TaiG tool should automatically detect your iOS device. Once it does, uncheck the 3K Assistant app install option, and click the green Start button
Step  5: Wait until the jailbreak completes and close the TaiG tool when prompted
Step 6: Launch Cydia on your iOS device and enjoy your newly jailbroken iOS 8.1.2 install
Be sure to watch the video for the full step-by-step tutorial. Again, if you don’t own a Windows machine, you can always follow our virtual machine tutorial to run Windows on your Mac just for the jailbreak. It’s completely free and only takes about 30-45 minutes from start to finish.

Download firmware iOS 8.1.2 Final Links For iPhone, iPad, iPod touch [Direct links]

iOS 8.1.2 download is out! Apple has rolled out iOS 8.1.2 both as OTA and direct download via iTunes for supported iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. Changelog along with other details are as follows.
Even though iOS 8 is only two-and-a-bit months old, it has already seen a number of updates. The first, iOS 8.0.1, was a bit of a mess, leaving thousands of iPhone 6 users with the dreaded No Service warning in the top-left of the display along with a non-functional Touch ID.
iOS 8.0.2 followed shortly after, and iOS 8.1 then introduced Apple Pay. iOS 8.1.1 arrived with a number of security fixes, and for the most part, reports suggested that Apple was squarely focused on testing and preparing iOS 8.2. But when little bugs arise that simply cannot wait — iOS 8.2 isn’t expected to manifest itself until the new year — Apple tends to roll out small updates to fix lingering issues, as has once again been proved with the impromptu release of iOS 8.1.2.

The small update notably addresses an issue with iTunes Store-purchased ringtones disappearing from devices.
But this, alone, isn’t too critical, and it would ordinarily take a little more than this to have Apple scrambling to make updates. Thus, among the spate of "bug fixes" mentioned in the change log, we’d hazard that some work has been done to amend security holes within the iOS software, although given that iOS 8.1.2 is hot off the press, we’ve yet to learn precisely what Apple has or hasn’t fixed.
Full changelog:

With iOS 8.2 well into its beta, that will be the next major software update to Apple’s mobile platform, although with Apple making a habit of dropping these go-between updates, we might be up to iOS 8.1.3 or even later on in the version count before the significant bump hits the download channels.
If you are jailbroken on iOS 8.1.1, DO NOT update to iOS 8.1.2 yet as it is not confirmed whether it patches TaiG jailbreak or not. We’ll update you as soon as we have more info on this.
Those of you are don’t care about jailbreak can either update via OTA, or using direct download links given below.
